North Georgia Annual Conference

North Georgia's discernment is coordinated through the Center for Clergy Excellence, which frames the call broadly: we are all called by God — some to ordained ministry, others to lay ministry, and some to other service to God and the world.

Their front door is myUMcall: a brief interest form that puts you in touch with someone who can walk with you.

How candidacy begins here

myUMcall — tell them you're discerning

Complete the short myUMcall interest form and the Center for Clergy Excellence will be in touch with resources tailored to how you're sensing a call — ordained, lay, or otherwise.

Candidacy Summit

As in every annual conference, formal candidacy in North Georgia runs through the Board of Ordained Ministry, with a Candidacy Summit as an entry point. Confirm the current schedule with the Center for Clergy Excellence.

Call Sunday & a Culture of Call

For churches and youth leaders: North Georgia offers Call Sunday resources and a Call Curriculum for Children and Youth — practical tools for naming and nurturing a call in the young people around you, rather than waiting for them to come forward alone.
